SB 2010 San Diego

meant to post this awhile ago...got drained after uploading all these pictures. here they are: san diego & the bay, a naval base and etc. fyi there's a lot of pictures...a lot alot. i'm THAT tourist. also i literally risked life and limb to stick my foot in the pacific ocean. i had to crawl down these huge boulders that made up the base of the dock and marina park. i was bound and DETERMINED to stick my foot in that water. so yea tis all.

figured while i'm avoiding the 2 papers i have due thursday i'll start posting SB pictures.

but first update: my geology class sucks. it's about earthquakes (yay..not) and it's 2 mother-freaking hours long. cuss. however i did run into new boy after class..unfortunately i was fiddling with my ipod and trying to keep my skirt from blowing up at the same time so i didn't even see him until he said (wait for it) "hey sydney" and waved...!!!!!!! i know it's sad, but once again he made my day...i need a life lol.

anyways back to the subject at hand. i'll start with the trip to la san diego:

angelica and ryan were nice enough to let me tag along on the ride to kc...it was definitely a fun ride lol

ok when i started this post i had every intention of posting SB pictures, but then i got distracted by the intranet and now it's time to leave for my stupid geology class. SO i'll go ahead and ramble about my day so far.

it was cool, new boy asked me how my spring break was as soon as i got to class..that made me happy (sad i know). then i made a "that's what she said" joke at a really innappropriate time and he cracked up. (i love it when a guy i'm interested in thinks i'm funny) and he agreed with me that we should have our greek sculpture class outside. i want to tell him that i'm interested, but the last time i did that without double checking how the guy felt first i embarrassed myself...and the whole bishop miege senior class of 2006 knew about it. oh repressed memories. sooo until i know FOR SURE how he feels, mums the word. he's just sooo cute!!! gah!

weather here in america's heartland is wonderful at the current moment! i was so worried about coming back from sunny california to dumb miser-i (get it?!) and it be cold weather. but alas tis nice and springy out. wore a skirt and cardigan today (unfortunately didn't factor in the wind..sorry all mizzou students walking behind me)

overall san diego was AMAZING! definitely looking into grad school in california. the weather there is soo unbelievable nice all the time! so now i have to choose between the 2 coasts. decisions decisions.

i have to admit that i'm excited to be in class again...yay for seeing the new boy again!

also my my one hour/credit geology class about natural disasters starts tomorrow..it should be interesting, one of our books is called "apocalypse" (so dramatic)

ps watched fantastic mr. fox yesterday....it was sooo cute and hilarious!! "what the cuss?!" lol definitely gonna start saying that instead of cussing lol
